Project Details:

• 1000 sq. ft. deck build,

• Elevated outdoor fireplace,

• Hot tub reinforcement,

• Outdoor kitchen & wet bar,

I had talked to about 7 or 8 different companies about my project over the course of a year and was about ready to throw in the towel on getting it done. Between people trying to sell me on something different than what I wanted, absurd prices being thrown out at me that were 4x my budget and just pulling teeth to get companies to follow up with what they promised - it was a frustrating process and I just didn't think anything was going to get done. After hearing about John and his work, I got in touch and he came out to meet me the next day. He listened to exactly what it was that I envisioned for my deck and on the fly came up with some suggestions and possible solutions and we talked about ballpark budgets in this first meeting which was refreshing to get that out of the way.

He stayed in constant communication over the next couple of weeks to talk next steps about getting a plan together and finalizing budgets. One of the things that I appreciate the most about the process was that John went out of his way to find more cost effective solutions for my fireplace and made recommendations about the dimensions of the deck that seemed small but ultimately saved a lot of money in materials. Adriana then able to put our ideas on paper and do wonderful mockups and designs that helped us to get excited about the vision we had in our heads and navigate approvals with our HOA.

Once we got started, one of the most surprising things was that John was on site nearly everyday and provided constant oversight of the project. I never had to point out anything because he was on top of it and felt like he treated it with the same care and attention to detail that he would have if it was his own. Throughout the process John and Adriana were amazing at solving challenges as they came up to keep the project moving along both on time and on budget.

We couldn't be happier with our new deck, outdoor kitchen and fireplace. We had big aspirations for how much we would use it, but we basically live out there now. It has become an overnight gathering place for family and friends and we couldn't be more thankful for how everything turned out.
